, jn thin on this wilbanks of san jose. they say he and another man were involved in four armed robberies a fatal shooting and a gun battle with police. >> anyone who is willing to take part in four armed robbery and shooting at an officer is as dang rouse as he gets. >> he they first robbed a little caesar's pizza and 15 minutes later a gas station. an hour after that a jack-in-the-box followed by a spa all within a 12-mile radius. after the robberies, police say wilbanks and a second suspect went to a store on kiwi boulevard and shot and killed a man during an attempted carjacking. the 22-year-old victim died in the parking lot where people have left flowers and notes in his memory. their friends said that he is a good person and great friend who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and they hope police catch the second suspect and soon. san jose police were able to arrest the first suspect, 26-year-old wilbanks on friday night after a pursuit and shootout with officers. >> basically a good old fashioned gun bat until the intersection. >> reporter: during the exchange one

:26. good morning, everybody. i'm jon kelley. a student at a san jose elementary school is now suing the principal, the teacher and school district for negligence and sexual abuse. this lawsuit claims the girl was abused by her teacher at o.b. whaley elementary school two years ago and the principal failed to act on those accusations. this lawsuit coming as the criminal trial against the principal is expected to wrap up sometime today. she is facing charges for faelg the report the abuse allegations against craig chandler. she admits in court yesterday she knew about the parents' concerns with chandler but did not report him because he assured her he wasn't doing anything inappropriate. chandler was later arrested and charged with committing lewd acts on five children. this marks the second time in 20 years prosecutors have charged a school administrator for not calling authorities in a situation like this. >>> right now let's check that weekend forecast. christina loren is here to talk about it. a nice one. >> yeah, we've got a great-looking day and weekend coming up. 51 degrees in

fortt is in san jose looking at the models, the niche they're going for and some of the pros and cons of tablets. jon? >> reporter: tyler, lots to cover. lots of tablets, so many i can't get through them all. but let's look at some of the big ones. first, ipads. three models mainly. the mini at $329, ipad 2 at $399, and the fourth generation, $499. they want everybody. pros, apple has the most apps. cons, apple has the most expensive tablet lineup and the screen resolution on the mini isn't as good as cheaper seven-inch tablets. next, kindle's fire and fire hd. fire had a pretty amazing $129 today only. the seven-inch hd at $199 -- the 8.9-inch hd, $299. amazon is targeting gamers with these tablets and some media consumers but the truth is they just don't have many apps available compared to apple's lineup. google's nexus tablets, two models a seven inches for $199 and 10 inches for $399. i'd include the samsung tablets in this general grouping, too, as mainstream android tablets. more apps available but still not as many as apple. these are good for consumers and individuals doing w
